At long last, there is about to be a legal battle between Blackface and 2Face who had been contending with each other over the ownership of certain songs said to have been written by one of them and stolen by the other.
It’s been somewhere around 15 years since the duo started battling each other over the ownership and piracy of the all-time “African Queen” tune and “Let Me Love You.” Blackface laid claims on those songs and has been very audible about it for the past years. 2Baba, on the other hand, had been silent on that matter and only spoke of it occasionally.
But since Blackface has refused to back down on calling him out of song theft, the living legend reacted by filing a N50m lawsuit against Blackface, stating that Blackface had been accusing him falsely all those years and even now. Folks thought it was the end of the road for Blackface, as N50m is not the kind of cash he can afford.
However, instead of shrinking into his shell, Blackface has accepted the challenge and has reacted to 2Baba’s lawsuit by declaring that “they will meet in court.” It’s now time to set the records straight and pinpoint the real culprit.
